I got to travel with Kristin Bednarz over to Midland to meet one of the hottest couples ever, Will and Rachael. For most of the shoot we had some cloudy skies, which made for some wonderful light. Towards the end of the shoot we got some rain, but I think it worked in our advantage. I haven't done a shoot with rain so it made me work extra hard to get what I wanted. Kristin did a great job and got some sweet shots! As a 2nd shooter/intern I'm learning more than I ever thought. The ride home was great, minus the ticket. After getting home around 12 I got to watch the run down on how Kristin edits her blog pictures.

Jared + Katie
Before posting all these photos from Jared and Katie's wedding, I of course was doing some editing on their photos. Gaa, it just made me feel so blessed and just lucky that God put me where I am with my internship. For one, I get to shoot with Kristin Bednarz, but I also get brought in by families that meet me for the first time and make me feel like I've known them for years. Jared and Katie obviously have something amazing, and I hope you can tell by my the photographs I took. For me this is probably a wedding I will never forget. Not because of the beautiful couple Jared and Katie, but because I felt trusted by the one person I want to impress the most, my boss. Kristin needed shots of the bride getting in her dress, and boy I'll tell you what, my adrenalin started pumping so fast when I knew I needed to get that shot. I hope these images give you a glance into a wedding photographer's eye.

A Lighting Story
Lately Lubbock's been getting some insane lighting storms. I promise you at points I ask myself why am I outside when there is HUGE lighting that could possibly kill me, haha. Gods been putting on some show to say the least. My friend Wild Dave and I have a found a great spot to get the in-coming storms, and just this past storm we called our family/friends from Junction '08 to come out and join and have a little bit of a reunion. It was amazing to watch! Here is a little bit of what I got from last nights storm.

This past weekend I got the opportunity to go to Dallas and shoot a wedding with Kristin Bednarz. Being her intern has opened my eyes so much to how weddings are photographed. Watching Kristin do her THANG was a trip in itself. Here are a few images I got from the wedding.

I'm an Intern!
This past weekend I got to shoot with Kristin, it was my very first wedding to shoot. Weddings are very upbeat and fast moving, but TONS of fun. Sadly enough I was sick that day. I made it through 5 hours of shooting and regretfully had to tell Kristin I needed to go home.
That day I learned a huge lesson...If you want to be a wedding photographer, or any photographer at that, you ARE going to have to shoot if your sick. I let Kristin down and I let myself down, but you know what? We all learn from our mistakes.
And to day I'm feeling a lot better and ready to show both my bosses that I have what it takes to be the ultimate intern. I want to show them and myself that I have the guts to do what it takes to get the best shot.
I am Linda Schilberg...A wedding photographer Intern!
Here are a few of the shots I got this past weekend at the wedding.
