Tech Impressions

This past fall semester '07 I got a chance to do some work with an on campus magazine called, Tech Impressions. Here is a little bit of the work I did for them. The assignment was to cover Lee Bobbitt the Tech featured twirler and SGA member to show females involved with campus organizations.

Surf Side Surf Trip

Summer '07 I went out with a few of my guy buddies to Surf Side for a little surf trip. After my sesh, that worked the crap out of me, I got a chance to watch the boys do what they love the most, Surf. Zach, Holland, Brendon, Paul, Justin... Truly blessed with great friends.

Tony Maples

While working at Rip Tank I got to meet this young man that is just all around amazing; Tony Maples. This young man has started his own computer editing company with his best friend Yoshie, Team 806. But they both also share a love for skateboarding. I got a chance to go out to a skate park with them one afternoon and shoot some photos of them doing some crazy stuff. I swear Tony Maples will go pro one day.

Just recently I got asked to work with Rip Tank, snow, wake and skate shop in fall of 2007. It was definitely a blessing because they asked me to do their photography work. I do work from taking photographs of their Internet products, all the way to their competitions. In September of '07 they put on a wakeboarding competition and I got to be out in a boat all day taking pictures. I also got a chance to meet new people and learn more about sports photography. I used a 70-300mm lens.

Humm, a lil about me. My name is Linda, and I love my God more than anything. I love to surf, longboard, skimboard, run, sand volleyball. I love anything to do with the beach & water. I am attending Texas Tech and my major is photocommunications with a minor in communication studies! I hope to be working for a major surf magazine, and getting to travel. But ya, God+family+friend+surf= Linda's life.

I shoot with a Pentax K10D and love every second of it!
